Hult Prize For Innovation And Creation Of Entrepreneurial Solutions In Afghanistan
At OROD we are adamant that entrepreneurship, and especially social entrepreneurship, is a gateway to prosperity, self-reliance, and economic development in Afghanistan. We believe the innovation that comes with an entrepreneurial environment is exactly the right motivator for change in the community.
Therefore, as a natural progression of our Scholars Project, the Hult Prize Initiative “Food For Good” was adopted by the students of the Scholars Project in KUMS and was directly supported and sponsored by OROD.
OROD was responsible for providing monetary aid and fundraising for the Hult Prize Initiative in KUMS, as well as providing expertise from different universities, including the American University of Afghanistan, to conduct a hands-on workshop for research methodologies and systemic inquiry.
